Ma Ma Suite
The Ma Ma Suite project has three different stages: -
The first piece “Ma Ma” was written in 2018 with students in mind. The piece was performed numerous times at piano students’ recitals.
“Ma Ma Waltz” completed in 2019 while on tour in Ireland/UK. Later in the year, the breakout of the Covid 19 pandemic appeared. It is then intended as a cheerful composition for all of us that sat home under lockdown.
“Ma Ma Three hands” is a so to speak “after thought”. In late 2020, Lim’s mother passed away; and it is in memory if he could play a piece with his mother. Lim’s mother was never a piano player!
This trilogy is intended to perform in a concert setting as a three movements composition.

Ma Ma
The first piece should begin with “Ma Ma” played by a student (or Child).
Ma Ma Waltz
The second movement is to be performed by the teacher (or Mother)

Ma Ma Three Hands
Finally, a short piece, “Ma ma three hands” is to be played by both the student and teacher (Mother and Child) together on the same piano – Three hands. The part, “Piano Primo” is set to be less demanding purposely for elementary students.
